Peter Jones It's always tough picking a favourite track off an album this good. Twice and The Space In Between were close but Four Brothers brought the biggest smile today, so wins. Fusion with a solid jazz source. Favorite track: Four Brothers.

Philip Wain I really find it quite an emotionally affecting record. It gets you from the first. ‘To Begin’ has a gorgeous behind the beat neo-soul swing to it with Audun Waage’s laid back trumpet and Janek’s melodic soloing. ‘Bethany’ has a simple theme and a chord sequence, groove and development I just adored. Jojo Mayer drums wonderfully throughout. ‘Four Brothers’ is a burning way to end a record.


I'm always asked how to describe my music and the first reaction is to be a typical neurotic musician and say that it's like nothing you've ever heard. What better way to alienate people from ever wanting to check it out huh? So I say it's a cross between the Foo Fighters and Miles Davis. I think both of those artists are melodic, innovative, write great songs, and put on a kick ass live show. So there you have it, i hope you enjoy it, and I hope you encourage other people to check it out. And have a look at their facial expression when you tell them it's a cross between Miles and the Foo...
